Our History
Since 1979, New Era Custom Design & Cabinet Works, Inc. has providing a wide range of finish carpentry and millwork services to clients in the Mid-Atlantic. John Gage, who has always been passionate about woodworking, started our company. Today, John Gage serves as our company president. Under his leadership, we continue to provide the same high level of quality, efficiency, and reliability we have become known for.
Our dedication to our work has been recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). For several years, we have been a recipient of the trade organization’s Subcontractor of the Year award.
What sets us apart from our competitors is our ability to anticipate potential problems on a project ahead of a new build. We quickly provide solutions, and we provide the highest quality millwork on short deadlines

Mission Statement
New Era Custom Design & Cabinet Works Inc. is a manufacturing company of custom architectural millwork. New Era encompasses all facets of building and installing custom cabinetry to the client’s needs. Our goal is to create value-added quality products while delivering and installing in a timely fashion. All employees are committed to advancing the reputation of New Era as the Mid-Atlantic leader in custom architectural fabrication. New Era serves three main market segments: commercial, institutional, and retail millwork.
